Episcopal churches hold joint online Holy Week services

As the quarantine continues, the three area Episcopal churches are organizing joint worship services for Holy Week, which starts on Palm Sunday, April 5, and concludes on Easter, April 12. Palm Sunday will be livestreamed at 9 a.m. from Abingdon Church, White Marsh, with the Rev. Sven van Baars preaching. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week at 6 p.m., there will be music on Ware Church’s Facebook. Maundy Thursday will be on Ware’s Facebook at 7 p.m., Kathie Price preaching. Good Friday Stations of the Cross will be presented by the Rev. Gary Barker of Kingston Parish, with drawings by Patty Rosenberg. The Easter Vigil will be broadcast at 6 p.m. on Holy Saturday from the Watermen’s Museum at Yorktown Beach in conjunction with eight Episcopal and Lutheran churches.
