The Gazette-Journal will observe early deadlines for its Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 issues, due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

For both weeks, the deadline to receive real estate advertisements will be 10 a.m. on the preceding Friday (Dec. 21 for the Dec. 27 paper; Dec. 28 for the Jan. 3 paper).

Classified and legal advertisements, as well as church news, marriages, births and engagement notices must be submitted no later than 10 a.m. Monday. All other material must be submitted by noon Monday.

The newspapers will be printed and distributed on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. The Gazette-Journal offices will be closed at noon on Dec. 24 and all day on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. ...
