Dianna Hill, age 65, of Glass, loving mother of three and wife to her Honey—Billy Ray, passed away at her home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 19, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dianna was born on Sept. 2, 1956 in Beckley, West Virginia, into a large and loving family. She drove the school bus for Gloucester County, retiring after 24 devoted years; always ready for a good yard sale or creating crafts. Dianna loved her red trucks and was affectionately known as “Grandma” even to non-family members. Her heart was made of pure gold, always thinking about others before herself. Parents, James and Lenora White; granddaughter, Daniele, and siblings, Sharon, Debbie, Lisa, and Jimbo, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Hill; children, Michelle Keating (Mike), Jermiah Carr (Tracy Carr), James Carr (Melissa Carr); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, sister, Tammy Hicks (Chubby); brother, Timothy White (Teresa), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Hayes. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 3 p.m. in Groves Memorial Presbyterian Church conducted by Pastor Michael Condrey, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
