David P. Lowney, 66, of Gloucester, was called home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, and now rests peacefully in the arms of God.

David was predeceased by his mom, Martha Jane Lowney, and his father, Rossie Phillip Lowney.

He is survived by his lifetime partner and love, Cheryl Horsley (Lowney), and brother, Jerry Michael Lowney of Gloucester. He leaves behind his best friend, Johnny F. Stokes, and special cousin and friend, Kenneth Dale Lowney, along with many other cousins, friends and relatives.

David touched the life of everyone he knew and met.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue and/or Gloucester Sheriff’s Department would be appreciated.
