Craig Steven, “aka Bubba,” Perkinson, 55, of Gloucester, passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. He was born in Norfolk, Va., and was the son of the late Willie Andrew Perkinson and Lois Garrett Perkinson. He was employed at Newport News Waterworks for 19 years and was a hydrant specialist.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wyland Andrew Perkinson, and is survived by his wife, Tamar L.

Perkinson; son, Daniel Wayne Thomas; his sister, Tracy Thacker (Robbie); niece, Pam and John, and great-nephew and -niece, Liam and Nina.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, from 10-11 a.m., with funeral services by the Rev. John Pouchot starting at 11. Burial was in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
