County seeks volunteers for local committees

There are several volunteer opportunities available for Gloucester residents interested in serving their community. Gloucester County is looking for citizens to serve on local committees, as there are multiple vacancies and not enough people to fill them.

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors seeks citizens on these board-appointed groups that assist the governing body with aspects of county government.

Currently, there are openings for residents of York and Gloucester Point magisterial districts on the Utilities Advisory Committee. There are also openings for residents from Ware and Petsworth magisterial districts for the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. An at-large citizen is also needed for this committee.
