The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold its 2020 organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Courthouse on Court Street. It will be followed by the regular monthly meeting.

During the organizational meeting, supervisors are expected to select a chair and vice chair for the upcoming year; adopt the board’s 2020 Rules of Procedure, Code of Ethics, and Standards of Conduct; make appointments to an array of boards, committees and commissions; and adopt the 2020 meeting schedule.

A public hearing will be held on a business rezoning request. Horsley Teolo Holdings LLC has asked to rezone a parcel along Short Lane in the York District in order to change its required front yard setback from 75 feet to 46 feet. The company is planning to build a professional center for business and professional offices at the site with up to six buildings. The change would allow them to build the center closer to the road.
