Drs. Dorothy Cooke and Wesley Wilson were presented Community Leadership Awards and letters from Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Saturday at a reception at the Gloucester Institute’s Moton Conference Center. The event was a reception held in the two doctors’ honor for their years of dedicated service at the Gloucester Institute. TGI’s board chair and founder Kay Coles James (at right in both photos), who also serves as Virginia’s Secretary of the Commonwealth, presented the awards to Cooke and Wilson. James said that the two have always been willing to help at the Gloucester Institute when called upon and that TGI would not be here if it weren’t for them.
