SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning, Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6641 Short Lane, Gloucester.

SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 19, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

FRIDAY

TEEN PARTY: Mathews teenagers are invited to celebrate the holiday at Rock the Resolution from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday in the teen center at Mathews Memorial Library. There will be refreshments, games, and music.

BINGO: A Holiday Bingo Night will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at Mathews Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 on Brickbat Road in Mathews. Sponsored as a fundraiser by the Mathews High School Key Club, tickets are $10 and include hot chocolate. There will be prizes, and baked goods will be on sale.

VA250: The Mathews County VA250 Committee will meet at 3 p.m. next Thursday, Dec. 26, at Mathews Memorial Library.

CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING: Live Christmas Tree recycling will be available at all five convenience centers in Gloucester during regular hours beginning next Thursday, Dec. 26, and continuing through Jan. 31. Trees must be completely clear of décor.
