Members of the Abingdon Ruritan Club participated Saturday’s Clean Gloucester Day last month, collecting 27 bags of trash, primarily from areas along Guinea Road. Members joining in the effort included, from left, Mike Ekdahl, Mary Lou Shepherd, Jim Stevens, Selena Collins, Frank Collins, Andrea Crawford, David Kyle, Betsy Tuttle, Roger Dick and David Simmons.
