CHERYL ANN HAYNES-ARNOLD

Cheryl Ann Haynes-Arnold, age 58, died peacefully on Oct. 6, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born on Dec. 5, 1962 at Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Cheryl worked for many years at her parents’ service station, growing up in Gloucester, Va.

She was a 1981 graduate of Gloucester High School, and then attended Rappahannock Community College to pursue a career in nursing, but later decided to move forward with her career as a seamstress. She worked at K&E Sewing Factory in Gloucester, and after moving to Wisconsin she accepted a position at the Southern Wisconsin Center to do what she loved, and was very good at.

Cheryl moved to Wisconsin in 1993 and stayed until her death, she loved sewing, fishing, bowling, reading, birds, her family and, most of all, her four children whom she loved with all of her heart. She never missed an opportunity to tell her family that she loved them immensely and always listened without judgment.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Byrd Pollard Haynes; her mother, Jane Allen Haynes Timberlake; her stepfather, James R. Timberlake; her brother, William Byrd Haynes, and sister, Kathy Lynn Powell, as well as her nephew, Jonathon Neal Hogge.

She is survived by her children, Brandy Tufford (Travis), Corey Strong, Hunter Arnold, and Brooke Arnold, as well as her granddaughter, Hailey Tufford whom she loved dearly; her sisters, Debbie Haynes and Mary Kay Sellars (Taylor); her brother, R.B. Haynes (Donna), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date in Gloucester.
