Charles Wellington Foster (born Jan. 15, 1950 and raised in Mathews County) passed peacefully on April 6, 2013 at his home in Washington, D.C.

He was the beloved husband of Gwendolyn Lewis Foster and father of Ali and Huling Foster.

On Friday, April 12, 2013, friends and family are invited to visit from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 o’clock at Northeastern Presbyterian Church, 2112 Varnum Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20018.
