Carl Hodges Jr., 63, died unexpectedly on Dec. 21, 2021 at his home in Hartfield, Va. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Hodges Sr., and brother, Kevin Hodges. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marva Hodges, and daughter, Cheri Penn (Raushawn); three grandchildren, Marcaz, Jaedyn, and Lauryn; his mother, Virginia Hodges; sisters, Debbie Randall and Nancy Morin (Kevin); brothers, Anthony Hodges (Patrica), Joseph Hodges (Frances). There was a viewing on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, with funeral services being held Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at 1 p.m. also at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home, Shacklefords, Va.
