Gloucester County has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the county’s most recent budget. This is the seventh consecutive year that Gloucester’s Financial Services Department has been so honored. To qualify, the entity had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. Budget documents must be rated “proficient” in each of four overall categories, and in the 14 mandatory criteria within those categories, to receive the award.
