Bernard Allen McFerrin, 87, of Gloucester, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a native of Georgia, and was the son of the late M.N. and Sallie Mae McFerrin and the widower of Bobbie McFerrin. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952-1955.
He is survived by his children, Glenn, Susan, Ellen, and Sharon; brothers, Tracy and Gary; sister, Becky; four grandchildren, Joshua, Nikki, Kaitlyn, and Zachary, and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Gabe, and Isaiah.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Va. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
