Girl Scout Troup #1018 members have been busy this fall, working to make Gloucester beautiful by planting trees and flowers in various areas of the county. The scouts will have the chance to take care of these plants and watch them grow to earn badges and work on service projects throughout their community. They have planted marigolds and petunias at Salem United Methodist Church in Gloucester, which is the location of their troop meetings. They also planted crape myrtles and liriop in the Holly Beach neighborhood.
