Bay Transit takes nearly 50 residents to the polls

Bay Aging provided free rides on Election Day, helping nearly 50 Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck residents get to the polls, according to Bay Aging’s Development Director Jean Duggan.

“Bay Transit recognizes the importance of giving every citizen the opportunity to remain engaged in their community, including exercising their right to vote,” Duggan said.

Bay Transit offers a low-cost way to get to work, see the doctor, and other trips and errands. To schedule a ride on a Bay Transit bus, Gloucester and Mathews residents can call 804-693-6977.
