Bay Transit bus shelter

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last week for the new Bay Transit bus shelter at the River Bend Apartments, Gloucester. The new shelter is the 15th installed across the Bay Transit service area and the third in Gloucester County. Taking part in the ceremony were, from left, Bay Transit Regional Supervisor Claudia Pratt, Bay Transit bus operator Wayne Clarke, River Bend Apartments Community Manager Ashley Cauntay, Bay Aging President and CEO Kathy Vesley, Gloucester County Administrator Carol Steele, Bay Aging Advisory Council Chairman Harrison Dixon, Gloucester County Economic Development Director Sherry Spring, Gloucester County Community Engagement and Public Information Manager Gloria Williams and Gloucester County Board of Supervisors’ chairman Dr. Robert “JJ” Orth.
