Bay School, Mathews Library host Family Craft and Movie Night

The Bay School Community Arts Center, Mathews, is preparing for a busy March, with events for people of all ages.On Friday, the Bay School and Mathews Memorial Library will co-host a Family Craft and Movie Night featuring Peter Rabbit. Children can take the bus from school (with a note) or be dropped off at the library at 3 p.m. They will read the story of Peter Rabbit and another book about rabbits, learn about rabbits, and do two rabbit crafts. A snack will be provided.

At 4:30, the children will walk to the Bay School to paint Peter Rabbit on a canvas. At 5:30, they will be served pizza with sides of rabbit-friendly veggies. For children who can’t eat pizza, parents are invited to bring them something they can have for dinner.

Parents are invited to meet in the gallery for food, drinks, and to paint their own rabbit if they wish. The movie will be shown in the classroom when the children finish dinner.
