Barbara Lynn Bostic, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Barbara was a native of Chenoa, Illinois, and a Gloucester resident since 1974. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and retired as director of Gloucester Learning Center for over 20 years. She was a member of the Gloucester American Legion Post 75. Barbara was a very loving and giving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene S. Bostic; daughter, Linda Gayle Bostic; her parents, Mildred Askew and Fred Kridner, and her sister, Cheryle Potts. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryle A. Hensley (Jim); a brother, Dale Kridner (Bonnie); grandchildren, Elizabeth Nicole Montgomery (Justin), Debbie Flynn (Travis Hayes), Timothy Soliday (Katie), Caroline Ashley Hensley, Amy Christine Hensley, and great-grandchildren, Dominick Hammond, Alex Hammond, Bella Tuttle, Peyton Montgomery, Jackson Hensley, Lucas Montgomery, Reign Britt, Lea Harrison, Kendall Aldea, Noah Soliday, Miles Kaltenberg, Marin Flynn, Cohen Soliday, and nephews, Dan Kridner and Billy Potts, and niece, Melissa Kridner.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Providence Baptist Church, Gloucester.
