In 2019, Sid Dugas received the Abingdon Ruritan Club’s Ruritan of the Year Award for his enthusiasm for community service and for establishing and for maintaining the club’s historical scrapbook. His wife, Ann, is now the recipient of the same award for 2020. She has served as the club’s treasurer for the past decade. In addition, she has worked tirelessly this year to sanitize the club after each meeting and event. Ann is also a tremendous help at all of the clam chowder sales and works diligently to keep the club’s landscaping well maintained.
