On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Annemarie G. Tocco of Newport News, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Annemarie was the owner of Annemarie’s Hair Studio, Denbigh, and retired from Ava’s Hair Studio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Grotzner Kube, and daughter, Carol Jean Mitchell. Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Tocco; sons, Steven Pfeffer (LaDonna), Peter John Pfeffer (Katy); grandchildren, Kimberly Jones (Micah), Valerie Williams, Erich Pfeffer, Hannah Pfeffer, and sister, Eleonore Ringwald (Franz). The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, 3098 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Hayes, Va. 23072. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required for entry, and social distancing is mandatory. A graveside service conducted by Pastor Art Wolz will be held at noon on Friday, March 12, 2021, in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Providence Road, Hayes, Va. 23072.
