Achilles Lodge No. 281, AF&AM had a big night on Aug. 9, with the awarding of Masonic Veterans Pins to two Masons acknowledging their years of service to the fraternity.
The lodge building was filled with visitors from around the region to celebrate Bruce Williams and Kenneth Morris Hogge.
Combined, Williams and Hogge have dedicated 110 years to the organization. Williams, a Past Lodge Master, was presented his 60-Year Masonic Veterans Pin and certificate by his son, Past Master Brian Williams. Hogge, also a Past Lodge Master, was awarded his 50-Year Masonic Veterans Pin by former Grand Master of Virginia Clifford Allen Parker.
