Deliah E. Cherrie, 89, of Gloucester Point, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Olin Davis; her husband, MSGT (ret.) Leroy Cherrie; two daughters, Karen and Jill, and son, Christopher.

Survivors include her son, Patrick Cherrie; four grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
