The 84 East Peer Recovery Center, part of the Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services Board, has announced its October calendar of events.
Upcoming events include:
Mondays—All Recovery meeting, Movie Madness and Bingo
Tuesdays—Taco Tuesday (second and fourth Tuesday), Cornhole and Beginning Spanish instruction.
Wednesdays—Boundaries, Journaling, All Recovery meeting and clothes closet (first Wednesday of the month).
Thursdays—Arts and Crafts, Uno card game and Recovery Connections.
Fridays—NAMI Connections, Arts and Crafts, Game Day and Frappés.
In September, the Peer Recovery Center participated in the Job Fair at Wind Vineyards in Tappahannock and also took part in the Recovery Fest at the Warsaw Resource Center. The Post Overdose Recovery team participated in the Guinea Jubilee on Friday and Saturday. In October, the group plana on participating in the Main Street Merchants’ Association Trick or Treat.
