2020 Gloucester Wine Festival canceled

The Gloucester Wine Festival, the Chamber of Commerce’s signature event, has been canceled for 2020, another casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, the Chamber announced this week.

“Due to COVID-19, the Gloucester County Chamber Board has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Gloucester Wine Festival,” according to an announcement in its monthly “Chamber Buzz” email newsletter. “We are looking forward to holding the event in 2021. We will keep you posted.”

Last year’s 10th annual Gloucester Wine Festival, held on Sept. 21 in the gardens of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, featured 13 Virginia wineries and a cider cellar.
