Gloucester resident Elsie Bright celebrated her 109th birthday on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Sanders Assisted Living in Gloucester, where she has resided for the past 12 years. Bright, a native of Ohio, has two living children, one deceased son, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Celebrating with Mrs. Bright were her daughter, Sandra Brewer of Glass, who visited her at her residence. Celebrating remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions were son-in-law Bill Brewer of Glass; grandson Mike Brewer and wife Laura of Coke, and great-grandson Michael Brewer and wife Frances of Gloucester Point.
