Gloucester resident Elsie Bright, seated at left, celebrated her 108th birthday on Sunday, Jan. 5, at Sanders Assisted Living in Gloucester Court House. An informal party was held at lunch, with cake provided by Sanders staff, and a hearty rendition of “Happy Birthday” was provided by family, residents and staff. Mrs. Bright, a native of Ohio, has two living children, one deceased son, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
