As part of its celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Watermen’s Museum will hold its Yorktown Military Appreciation Weekend this coming weekend, June 9-11. Activities will feature reenactments, live music and more. The weekend kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday with a lecture at the Watermen’s Museum titled “A Question of Religious Freedom: the 1773 Baptist Preacher Trial.” Saturday and Sunday will feature reenactors, cannon-firing displays, vendors and educational storytelling.
