The West Mathews Community League will hold its 12th Fall Festival from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the league building, the historic Peninsula Schoolhouse, at 4905 East River Road, Bohannon.
Anticipated attractions include a fire truck, corn-shelling, apple press, an airbrush artist, clam chowder and barbecue sales, and a plant sale.
A visit from Karma, police dog with the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office, is expected. Live music will be performed by Walt and Susan Stillman.
A yard sale, bake sale, vendor sales, door prizes, and 50/50 raffle are also planned....
