The West Mathews Community League will hold its 10th annual Fall Festival on Saturday at the league headquarters at 4905 East River Road, Bohannon. Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The former Peninsula School, now 110 years old, and its grounds will be the setting for live music by Hunter Owens, face-painting, air-brush artistry, corncob shelling, apple pressing, a plant sale, yard sale, bake sale, raffle and door prizes, according to an announcement from the league.
Clam chowder will be sold by the quart, and barbecue meals by Backwoods BBQ will be sold.
