Ware kicks off public phase of capital campaign

Ware Academy recently announced the public phase of its capital campaign to improve and expand the Gloucester campus.

Over the past five years, enrollment at Ware has increased by more than 50 percent with all grades nearly full, a release said. The school anticipates enrollment of over 200 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Mathews, Middlesex, Gloucester and surrounding areas for the 2024-2025 school year.

In order to accommodate record-high enrollment, Ware embarked on the silent phase of a capital campaign last December. Plans for Ware include three new classrooms, a technology lab, an outdoor observation deck and other improvements. Other eventual improvements the school would like to make include updated parking, turning lanes and other site work.
