VMS begins 54th season Saturday

Virginia Motor Speedway will throw the gates open for its 54th season of weekly racing this Saturday, April 15. Fans and competitors are looking forward to a return to racing at the half-mile speed plant in Jamaica.

The night will feature the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin’ Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified, and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions in side-by-side action.

Competitor gates for Saturday will open at noon for inspection and registration, with spectator gates opening at 5 p.m. On-track activities will begin at 5:30 for practice/hot laps.

The speedway is currently accepting registrations for the 2023 season. Visit www.vamotorspeedway.com to download and print off the forms. The track encourages all its competitors to fill out the registration form in advance to speed up opening day.
