VDOT to hold meeting in West Point on proposed Route 30 corridor improvement

The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the West Point Branch Library, 433 12th Street, West Point.
VDOT will display and receive comment on its plan to improve the Route 30 corridor for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians between Mount Olive Cohoke Road and Route 33. The potential work would also target traffic congestion and access management, VDOT said.
An online survey is taking comment through Oct. 31. It can be found at vdot.virginia.gov/Route30Study....
