Abingdon Ruritan Club president Antonio Donald, at right, presented Harvey Kidd, center, with the club’s 2025 Unsung Hero Award at the club’s Jan. 12 meeting. Kidd is a 30-year member of the Abingdon Ruritans and during all of those years, he has worked behind the scenes on the grounds, in the buildings, in the kitchen, identifying and fixing areas that needed attention.
