Teresa Pregnall, state director of Concerned Women for America of Virginia, will address two proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution at a meeting next week at Gloucester Point.
The Speak Up Gloucester and Mathews Family Foundation will host the meeting, set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gloucester Point Baptist Church, 7741 Terrapin Cove Road. Pregnall will discuss proposed amendments for 2026 concerning abortion and marriage.
“But this November’s election is important because all of the House members in the Virginia legislature are up for reelection,” said Leslie Belvin, director of Speak Up Gloucester and Mathews Family Foundation. “If the House majority changes, the amendments will not likely be approved and they will not appear on next year’s November ballot,” she said....
