Tryouts for the Mathews High School varsity volleyball team will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the school gymnasium, coach Pat Moughon announced.

Moughon added that she is excited the former MHS standout setter Sarah Brown will be assisting with the coaching this year. JV tryouts will also be held Monday, but a time is not yet confirmed. Interested athletes should check the MHS Volleyball page on Facebook for updated information.

As always, physicals need to be completed and dated after May 1, 2022, Moughon said.
