Tickets go on sale Monday for the next Abingdon Ruritan Club Seafood Festival. Tickets will be available through Sept. 27 for the Oct. 15 event; no tickets will be sold at the gate.
This popular event is an all-you-can-eat-and-drink party. Food includes oysters fried, roasted and on the half-shell, clam chowder, clam fritters and on the half-shell, scallops fried and grilled, shrimp steamed and grilled, fried fish, steamed crabs, BBQ with coleslaw, hush puppies, French fries, wine and cheese, cake and ice cream. Beverages include water, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Alcoholic beverages include beer, wine and mixed drinks.
The band, “Brass Wind” will provide music for listening and dancing. Convenient parking, as well as the food and beverages, are included in the price of the ticket.
