BROADBAND: The Mathews Broadband Advisory Board will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Mathews Memorial Library on Main Street.
WIDOWS GROUP: The Widows of Gloucester and Mathews Virginia will hold its membership meeting at noon on Tuesday at Tabernacle of Faith Church, 7028 Woodsville Road (Route 1306), Hayes. The featured speaker will be Deaconess Barbara Foster. Payments for the group’s upcoming June 17 outing on the Spirit of Norfolk will be collected during this meeting.

TOWN HALL: The Mathews County School Board will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the J. Murray Brooks Auditorium at Thomas Hunter Middle School. The public will have the opportunity to address the board on any issue related to the operation of the school division; questions should not pertain to personnel or individual student matters, a release said.
