WIDOWS GROUP: The Widows of Gloucester and Mathews Virginia will hold its membership meeting at noon on Tuesday at Tabernacle of Faith Church, 7028 Woodsville Road (Route 1306), Hayes. The featured speaker will be Deaconess Barbara Foster. Payments for the group’s upcoming June 17 outing on the Spirit of Norfolk will be collected during this meeting.

TOWN HALL: The Mathews County School Board will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the J. Murray Brooks Auditorium at Thomas Hunter Middle School.
