Thomas R. Cocke, age 84, died at the Gloucester House on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Mr. Cocke was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired Civil Service auditor. He was a family-oriented man who enjoyed visiting Busch Gardens, an avid gardener, excellent bowler and he loved his church home, Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan C. Cocke, and is survived by three daughters, Janet Lee Robertson (David), Linda Marie Paquette (Keith), Joanne Rebecca Barwood; three grandsons, Thomas Edwin Roberson, Benjamin Matthew Roberson, Carson Blake Widdoes; one granddaughter, Victoria Robertson; three great-granddaughters, Makenzie, Mallory, Aubrey; one brother, Robert Cocke, and several grand dogs. The family received friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home. A 2 p.m. chapel service was held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Hogg Funeral followed by interment with military honors in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Masks were required for entry at the funeral home and social distancing was mandatory.
