The Other Moving Company collects 541 pounds of food at ‘Front Porch Drive’

The Other Moving Company recently held a “Front Porch Food Drive” in the Seawell’s Trace subdivision in Hayes.

On April 11, company owners Brian and Jennifer Hudgins and other volunteers walked through the neighborhood, collecting “Front Porch Food Drive” donation bags containing a total of 541 pounds of food.

“We just want to thank our community and everyone who contributed their time and donations,” a TOMC release stated. “The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an estimated 17 million more Americans struggling with hunger and your donations are helping feed those families in need during a very difficult time in our country.”

This event was hosted by North American Van Lines (of which The Other Moving Company is affiliated) and Move for Hunger, a national nonprofit organization. North American Van Lines had 30+ agents across the country participate in this food drive.
