Peninsula Heating & Air, with its office in Hayes and serving much of the Middle Peninsula and Peninsula, has announced its next generation of leaders, with staff updates reflecting the company’s commitment to providing exceptional customer service and their promise of offering the professional difference, a press release stated. While owner Stephen Smith transitions into retirement, his son Evan Smith is now acting president over the longstanding family business. Evan, like his father, also holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Old Dominion University and will oversee all aspects of the daily operations of PHA. The company’s technical department has welcomed a new Service and Maintenance Manager, Herbie Lewis, who has over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
