Several churches in the area will provide Thanksgiving meals to the community on Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. Kingston Parish hosted the Mathews Community Thanksgiving Dinner last year and plans to hold it again this year at the parish house, beginning at 11 a.m. Volunteers from last year’s event were, from left, Maryann Hubbard, Rich Thorpe, Mary Helliesen and Rosemary Eaton.
