The Gloucester High School boys’ and girls’ varsity swim teams both defeated Denbigh Monday night in Newport News. The girls beat Woodside, but the boys came up short against the Wolverines. Highest point earners against Woodside were Nate Quick, Brandon Carucci, Abby Brown, Danni Knott and Sara Hedge. Top earners against Denbigh were Carucci, Quick, Brown, Knott and Hedge. Madison Walters is shown swimming her first 500 freestyle. She placed first against both teams.
