Members of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday night during the board’s meeting in the colonial courthouse to give themselves raises—an action that hasn’t been taken since 2005. 

Currently, each board member receives $7,000 annually and the chairman receives $8,800. With the salary increase, each board member will receive $8,200 annually and the chairman will receive $10,000.

“Last year, we did an extraordinary competitive salary and compensation analysis for the entire county staff,” said county administrator Brent Fedors. “Part of that included the board of supervisors and other entities not usually included when giving increases.”
