The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will have a special meeting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, in order to go into closed session and once again consider legal matters related to Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill. The agenda includes consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff pertaining to two pending lawsuits—Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill LLC v. Mathews County Board of Supervisors and Ramona Wilson (the county administrator), as well as Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill LLC v. Board of Supervisors of Mathews County and David S. Jones and Michael S. Walls (former county supervisors). Also on the agenda is provision of legal advice by the county attorney as to an out-of-court settlement on both lawsuits. Finally, there will be a discussion of the disposition (sale) of 384 Old Ferry Road, the address of the county-owned property where the restaurant is located....
