This year’s Gloucester Day celebration will be a bit special for Gloucester County, Virginia as it will be taking the opportunity to commemorate its 375th anniversary. “It coincides with Gloucester Day internationally,” said Tourism, Marketing & Events Manager Hunter LeClair of Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism. Celebrate Gloucester Day will be held along Gloucester Main Street from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday. The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available nearby at county buildings one and two, accessible through Corr Street. “It will be centered around the court circle,” said LeClair. The celebration will begin at 11 with a dedication of Main Street’s newest mural, “Six Scenes, One Place: The Story of Gloucester,” hosted by the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester.
