Susan Johnson of InsideOut Yoga will co-lead a Sun Salutations workshop with retired physical therapist Ginger Houck from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Northern Neck Family YMCA in Kilmarnock. The cost of the workshop is $40 and partial proceeds benefit the Guardian Program.

“Sun salutations are ubiquitous to many styles of yoga,” said Johnson. “In this workshop, you’ll learn how to optimize your own unique alignment in the eight poses that make up a Sun Salutation A.”

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Registered yoga teachers will receive one Yoga Alliance approved contact hour for Techniques, Training and Practice as well as one for Anatomy and Physiology.
