“Walk for a New Day!,” the fourth annual suicide prevention awareness walk, will be held on Saturday in Gloucester Court House.

Participants will meet at 10 a.m. at Main Street Center, in the parking lot next to the U.S. Post Office. The event continues until noon, with participants walking up and down Main Street.

The event is sponsored by the Prevention, Health and Wellness Division of the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board, in partnership with the Coalition for Healthy Virginia Communities’ Regional Suicide Prevention Task Force. The program is being funded by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
