Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring STAR Winter Games for ages 6-18 from 6-7:30 p.m. on Fridays, Dec. 1-Feb. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Botetourt Elementary. STAR is an athletic games and social program for children with special needs. The fee is $15, and the registration deadline is Nov. 27.

ZUMBA: Zumba classes are offered at 6:45 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in December at Abingdon Elementary. The fee is $8 per day if you sign up for the whole month or $9 per day for individual days. The signup deadline is Nov. 21.

PICTURES IN THE PARK: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring Pictures in the Park at Beaverdam Park on Saturday, Dec. 9, beginning at noon. Register by appointment time. The amphitheater will be decorated for the holidays. They will take photos of you or your family, then email those photos for you to use on cards or frame for presents. The fee is $10; deadline to register is Dec. 2.
